Like Mother, Like Daughter(s)
I was really on a roll this weekend. With the assistance of Dolly Parton and several caffeinated beverages, I painted seven 5x7 portraits for my Dia de Los Muertos series. I also baked cookies, made an actual meal for once, and managed not to freeze while my husband and our friend installed a new front door. It was a good weekend. Here are four of the paintings I just finished - a mom and her three daughters, who supported my Kickstarter project.
I couldn’t be happier, thank you so much! If you lived closer to me I’d run over with a bottle of wine and baked treats!!!
