All In The Family
I know I haven't posted many paintings lately, but that's because they've all been Christmas surprises! I promise, on Christmas Day I will start posting oodles of paintings, all of which have been completed in the last three months or so. There's like, 50. In the meantime, I want to share this fun portrait of my friend and her family. She's going use it for holiday cards, which I think is a great idea. It's the first time I've painted four people in one portrait.

Oh I love your work so much! Such a great idea for a Christmas card. I got married this year and we took a wedding photo and turned that into a photo–not exactly a new idea but I still liked it and it’s not like we can do that next year or later.
